Teach in Korea

Lotte World!

Yesterday, Myra, Dan, and I finally went to Lotte World. We’ve been wanting to go to this place even before we arrived in Korea, but we wanted to go together, so we waited six whole months for Dan to finally arrive. Lotte world can be compared to a Disneyland knock off, complete with characters, Lotty and Lorry raccoon modeled after Mickey and Minnie mouse. It’s a fairly small place, but being in Korea, they manage to pack a lot into the small area. Part of the theme park is outdoors, and the other part is indoors. The indoors consists of three floors, including an ice skating rink, bowling, rides, restaurants, shops, and anything you could imagine. The outside is reserved for the faster and slightly larger rides, and there’s even a Disneyland-esque castle to see. We got there after 4pm, and only paid 21,000 won (about $20) to get in. We got to do a lot of neat stuff, and managed to ride the majority of the popular rides. I had a lot of fun, and since it’s so cheap, would definitely go again.
